FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
I am Out-of-Network and do not accept insurance for treatment at this time. You can use your HSA (Health Savings Account) or Flex card for payment of services. I also accept credit card payments. You can always call your insurance company to inquire about Out-of-Network benefits. If requested, I can supply you with a "Superbill", a list of services provided to submit to your insurance for potential payment or reimbursement. This will be your responsibility to communicate and complete with your insurance company.
CAN WE MEET IN PERSON?
For the foreseeable future, Secure and HIPAA compliant video sessions will be how services are delivered. Depending on your location, timing, and weather, walk and talk sessions can also be considered once COVID-19 is well managed.
CAN MY BABY BE PRESENT?
If you can focus and benefit from therapy with you child/children present, then they are welcome! Feel free to feed and tend to your child as needed.
HOW CAN I BEST PREPARE FOR SESSIONS?
You will need a reliable internet connection to meet on your phone, tablet, or computer. You will want to try and find a quiet and confidential place for our sessions. Bring your favorite blanket to stay warm, some tea, and perhaps some tissues. You could have a notepad next to you if you are the note-taking type.
