GET TO KNOW ME

Hi there, 

I am Jeralyn, owner of Happy Nest Counseling LLC. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in Ohio and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Kentucky. I have been working in the field of mental health for over 14 years. I have a passion for helping others to better understand themselves, and the world around.

After having children of my own, I was able to experience and understand the significant shift that takes place for new mothers. There are so many other elements that can impact this transition to motherhood that often go unspoken. I have a passion to help women through this incredibly tough season of life. I want to help you feel supported and confident wherever you may be on your path to motherhood!

This passion led me to obtain specialized training and a certificate of completion in maternal mental health from Postpartum Support International. 

Due to the significant traumas that many woman  have experienced, I have completed EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) training and utilize this in my practice as well. If you want to know more about this, check for more information on the Services page. 

My sincere hope is to help women and their partners feel prepared, confident, and to help fully enjoy the experience of parenting.

I am a lifelong learner. I am an advocate for human rights! You can find me reading, listening to podcasts, or attending training seminars. I enjoy my time with my family, I browse Pintrest, and scroll Tik Tok more than I'd like to admit. I love to make genuine connections and am a firm believer in writing goals on paper!
